Bay St. Louis, Mississippi – Utility Replacement

This project consists of the complete revitalization of the utility infrastructure that was damaged by Hurricane Katrina. This project required the replacement of 35,400 LF of sewer, 38,400 LF of water and 41,700 LF of gas line. All asphalt streets as well as concrete sidewalks and curb & gutter were removed and replaced. The aforementioned required being sensitive to the residents and local businesses during the holiday shopping season.

Shreveport, Louisiana – 60″ Water Main

This project required the installation of approximately 1 mile of 60″Ductile Iron pipe that is the final phase of the 60″Water Transmission Main projects that have been ongoing for more than two decades and ties-in to the Amiss Water Treatment Plant. The final phase traverses narrow city streets while encountering numerous major underground utilities and elevated railroad crossings. The tie-in required Eutaw’s team and its subcontractor’s to expedite their work in a well planned and strictly scheduled manner as the plant was shut down during the tie-in process.

Picayune and Poplarville, Mississippi – Gulf Region Water/Wastewater Plan

The overall project consists of 4 separate smaller projects – W1, W2, S1, S2 – requiring the installation of approximately 250,000 LF of water and sewer force mains. Projects are located in Pearl River County, Mississippi and centered in the municipalities of Picayune and Poplarville. Dungan Engineering is the engineer for this project.

Orange Beach, Alabama – Orange Beach Water Authority

This project involved the installation of 14,325 LF of 30″ DIP/HDPE water main piping for Orange Beach Water Authority (OBWA). This piping connects water mains on Beach Boulevard to the piping on Canal Road increasing OBWA’s capacity for water service and fire protection. Other work performed was the installation of 500 LF of 36″ horizontal directional drilling under Shelby Lake and a 42″ steel encasement jack and bore under Canal Road.
