Eutaw has been awarded the Capitol Street Improvements in Jackson, MS. The project consists of converting the existing traffic on Capitol Street from one-way to two-way circulation, from Gallatin Street to State Street. Major features of work include: reconstruction of sidewalks, mill and overlay asphalt pavement, construction of mini-roundabouts at four intersections, traffic signal modifications at 5 intersections, landscaping, and demolition of parking garage ramps. Approximately 8,000 CY of excess and borrow excavation will be conducted on the project.
Eutaw begins work on a $10,246,865 project for the City of Ridgeland. Scope of work includes widening of Lake Harbour Drive from Hwy 51 to Northpark Drive.
Eutaw employees came out in force to help individuals that were affected by the devastation of the EF-5 tornado that struck Monroe County in northeast Mississippi on April 27th. Many of those affected were co-workers, families and associates of Eutaw Construction. Eutaw’s primary mission is helping others especially those in need in Mississippi, since they are our employees, clients and fellow citizens. Eutaw’s efforts included bringing heavy equipment to the site to move mounds of debris and clearing the area for redevelopment. Employees worked diligently to clear the local cemetery so funerals could begin being held as early as the first Sunday after the tornado.
