Safety is a top priority in our business. There is no substitute for doing good work with an emphasis on safety. Our Safety Manager works closely with OSHA and our employees, providing on-going training on safe practices in the field and on the road. We built our reputation on getting a safe job done right.

Brad Tate – Loss Control Manager

Brad has been employed with Eutaw Construction Company, Inc., since April 29, 1996. In his capacity as Corporate Loss Control Manger, he is responsible for all aspects of Eutaw’s Safety Programs including developing the policies and subsequently enforcing them. He has implemented aggressive programs for Eutaw to be in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and MSHA requirements. Brad developed drug and alcohol procedures and policies to ensure a safe work environment for all employees. He works closely with Worker’s Compensation Representatives to maintain the best possible treatment for our employees and he developed and implemented a return to work program for injured employees. Brad is actively responsible for scheduling required training for managers, superintendents, and employees. Brad works closely with all departments in handling all liability claims. He is responsible for purchasing all safety supplies, equipment tires, along with other necessary materials for projects.

Brad attended Itawamba Community College and continues to receive education and training in the construction industry. Brad comes to Eutaw Construction Company, Inc., after working for Cooper Tire & Rubber Company for 11 years, which helped to ground him for the ethical, policy driven, hardworking background that he brought to Eutaw. His belief in Eutaw is that it is a company in a position for a very positive future and he realizes the responsibility for the health and safety of Eutaw’s employees goes beyond compliance with federal and state requirements. He recognizes that protection of Eutaw’s employees, property, the public and the environment are necessary in order for Eutaw to successfully complete each and every project that we undertake.
